Nori seaweed is a variety of edible seaweed that usually appears as thin, deep green leaves that turn black.
They are first dried, grilled litt. Yaki and then made into leaves to then coat sushi and maki but can also be cut into strips and then served in bowls of donburi topped rice or as a topping for râmen or soba noodles.
