Clearspring has carefully selected this premium quality Hoshi Nori seaweed with the well-translucent dark green colour and with very fine uniform texture.
These strips of nori leaves are ideal for onigiri, the rice dumplings usually wrapped in nori seaweed and often triangular or oval in shape.
They are equally perfect for ramen or temaki sushi. Dried or cut with scissors into thin strips, nori seaweed makes a tasty garnish for grain, noodle and vegetable dishes as well as soups and salads.
Adopt these Hoshi Nori 干しのり cultivated and prepared using traditional methods in Kyûshû, in southern Japan. : bring all the authenticity of a healthy and traditional nori seaweed to your plate!
Before use, the leaves can be briefly passed over a flame or electric frying pan until the nori leaf turns quite green.
