Furikake ふりかけ is a seasoning to be sprinkled directly over hot rice. There is an infinite variety of them to enhance and vary the tastes of the rice that the Japanese eat daily at every meal.
Mishima 三島 has been producing furikake since 1949, which the Japanese enjoy with relish at breakfast: they particularly appreciate their salty taste.....irresistible tasty!
This variety Yukari Shôga Iri ゆかりしょうが入りis a delicious blend of red shiso leaves, ginger natural salt to quickly add umami-filled herbal flavours to your rice bowls but also your onigiri dumplings!
