hokkai yamato hokkaidô akisake chazuke
Hokkaido salmon ochazuke tea rice mix
O'chazuke お茶づけ is a kind of tea rice soup accompanied by a variety of toppings.
This dish, which is very popular in Japan, is actually very simple: you pour green tea over the bowl of rice accompanied by nori seaweed, fish (such as salmon), furikake (the powdered seasoning for the rice ), a salted plum or any other accompaniment that pleases.
Hokkai Yamato has concocted this mixture for you made from small puffed rice biscuits and strips of nori seaweed: just sprinkle it over your bowl of rice and then pour boiling green tea (or boiling water instead of green tea) over the whole thing. You can also opt for the cold version, which is very popular with the Japanese during the hot summer weather,
Give yourself a treat with this Hokkaido Akisake Chazuke 海道秋鮭茶漬け, this rice soup with the famous Hokkaido sockeye salmon, which is so simple and aromatic!
