The Shutaro Hayashi family from Kirishima 霧島, in Kagoshima Prefecture selects carefully different senchas from their first harvest to produce this premium quality Tokujou sencha : a few shaded and non shaded tea leaves are delicately mixed, mainly essences of Yabukita and Asatsuyu.
For this Miumori Shincha, the shaded leaves from the tea plant Kabuse Asanoka have been carefuly steamed (asamushi) so that the leaves get a get needle shape and the tea be wonderfully seathrough.
