The Shutaro Hayashi family from Kirishima 霧島, in Kagoshima Prefecture selects carefully different senchas from their first harvest to produce this premium quality Tokujou sencha : a few shaded and non shaded tea leaves are delicately mixed, mainly essences of Yabukita and Asatsuyu.
For this Shincha Aracha, the leaves from the tea plant Kabuse Asatsuyu have not been been warmed during tea preparation so that 5% humidity is still present int the tea.
