

Japanese organic salted plum vinegar umeboshi and red shiso perilla
Ume Su 梅酢 is a traditional Japanese seasoning, said to date back to the Edo period in the 1600s. It is gaining popularity around the world for its unique flavor profile.
This plum vinegar is produced from genuine juice extracted from Japanese Ume plums which give a taste is tart and salty and a lovely natural pink colour.
Purposeful this vinegar can be used in place of conventional vinegar: its vinegary acidity adds a rich flavour to a wide variety of dishes, including salads, dips, vegetables, dressings, for pickling and even as a secret ingredient in cocktails.
Note: When cooking with this vinegar, there is usually no need to add salt or other salty condiments.
