Sengirishôga marinated and minced red ginger
Beni shoga is a condiment of Japanese origin, prepared from thinly grated ginger and marinated in rice vinegar.
It is traditionally coloured with red shiso leaves or any other vegetable and often served as an aperitif in Japanese izakaya breweries.
But it's really on fried dishes that it works wonders: as a topping for okonomiyaki pancakes, takoyaki octopus dumplings and yakisoba fried noodles without forgetting light tempura fries.
It's up to you to adopt this Sengiri Beni Shôga from Daruma, crunchy and aromatic: it's sure to refresh your palates and sublimate your favourite dishes!
