Traditional Chasoba green tea buckwheat soba noodles
To this variety of traditional soba noodles has been incorporated green tea which gives its beautiful colour and matcha-like taste
Chasoba noodles 茶そば are thin (2mm thick) and are widely eaten in Japan, hot or cold with 'tsuyu sauce, made of dashi, mirin and sweet soy sauce.
It is a main ingredient in soup, or a side dish with pork or chicken. Ideal as a salad, drizzled with a Japanese dressing, for hot summer days!
