Kirishima Organic Superior Sencha Green Tea 100g

Shutaro HAYASHI belongs to the fifth generation of a family of tea growers in the prefecture of Kagoshima, in the south of the Kyûshû peninsula. At the foot of the Kirishima mountains,  霧島 the Shutaro Hayashi family cultivates in their family gardens surrounded by forests, species of tea trees, some of which are becoming increasingly rare in Japan. All of their production stems from fully organic cultivation that knows how to meet the challenges that come from the demanding way of working in an organic tea garden.

Different sencha green teas from their first harvest are gently blended with some tea leaves of the typical unshaded Yabukita tea and shaded Asatsuyu tea varieties for Gyokuro, to produce this superior quality Tokujô Sencha tea.
