Ume 梅 plums, a specific variety of Japanese plum, are marinated in it.
Since 1902, Ippongi in Fukui has been producing natural spirits rich in locally grown umé plums.
It offers this original umeshu Ginkoubai Hanyakatou 吟香梅般若刀 sweet and spicy.
