Umshu is an alcoholic beverage produced from sake in which Ume plums, a specific variety of plum from Japan, are marinated.

This umeshu is produced from local plums Nanko-ume, from Kishu, prefecture of Wakayama and harvested when fully ripe kanjuku.

Sweet and mellow on the palate, this Ozaki umeshu then gives off the refreshingly pleasant flavour of plum ume

This sweet drink is ideal as an aperitif, accompanied by ice.
