Aromatic sweet potato shochu with floral notes
Takara Shuzo offers you a rather rare shôchû: brewed with light-skinned sweet potatoes harvested in Kagoshima, it is fermented with sweet potato mash rather than the rice kôji usually used.
Its smooth texture and mild, floral flavours are the perfect accompaniment to roast pork, veal escalopes, grilled sausages, fried fish and even oysters.
Enjoy this shôchû Ikkomon Honkaku Aka 一刻者本格焼酎-赤 straight or on the rocks, extended with sparkling water or as a cocktail.
