Relaxing organic Bancha green tea

Bancha tea is an everyday tea – almost ordinary, and yet the second most widely consumed tea in Japan.

Its many names, such as Yanagicha, vary depending on the region or how it is prepared.

• this Yanagicha tea comes from the spring harvest :
• leaves that were slightly too large during the first harvest, picked immediately afterwards
• leaves harvested in the afternoon and left in cold storage until the following morning before being prepared
• they are not rolled but folded flat

Its deep floral aroma is reminiscent of Oolong tea, particularly by the fifth infusion, even though the tea is not fermented !
