Miyazaki Organic Catechin Rich Green Tea Powder 50g

For 40 years, the Morimoto Family has been cultivating seven varieties of tea plants in Miyazaki, south of Kyûshû, for their unique flavours and extreme resistance to climatic conditions. This tea powder is made from the leaves of the Benifûki tea plant variety, the only one containing high catechin EGCG.  As tea only produces catechin in full sunlight, the benifuki bushes used for this high catechin Kafun tea are not shaded and are only harvested after 3 consecutive days of sunlight!

Catechin is a powerful natural antioxidant that helps to prevent inflammatory and coronary diseases, it is also a mini-heart ally and a great detoxifier. The results of the catechin analysis are visible on the back of the pack. A basic rule of thumb: the stronger the taste of the tea, the more catechin it contains.
