For 40 years, the Morimoto Family has been cultivating seven varieties of tea plants in Miyazaki, in the south of the Kyûshû peninsula, for their unique flavours and their extreme resistance to climatic conditions. This Morimoto Premium Matcha Minami Sayaka森本抹茶,特ミナミ・サヤカ in 20g bags, is produced from the finest variety of Tokujou Kabusecha tea (100% from the Minami Sayaka tea bush) whose leaves have been shaded : this matcha is ground in a ceramic millstone which makes the matcha powder incredibly fine and intense green.
