Sweet Japanese sparkling sake with Yuzu citrus
Ozeki (literally sumo wrestler) Brewery has built a solid reputation for brewing enjoyable sake for over 300 years, and that continues.
This sparkling sake with light flower-like bubbles - hence the name Hana Awaka 花泡香 has a delicate and very refreshing sweetness.
The fruity flavour comes from the white Koji, which thus brings a real harmony between freshness and a hint of acidity.
His tangy aromas of Yuzu, between lemon, grapefruit and orange, invite it to a brunch or an aperitif and wonderfully accompany light dishes, desserts and entrements.
Why not enjoy it instead of a beer (if you don't like it too much) or in a champagne glass, as in Japan!
