Clearspring bio kitchen azuki beans
The red azuki bean ??? - ?? is the most consumed legume in Japan after soybeans.
The Japanese like it sweet, and pureed, called Anko, which is somewhat reminiscent in colour and taste of our chestnut cream. It is enjoyed in Japanese wagashi pastries and many others. Japanese tables also offer salted azukis, especially in combination with rice: sekihan literally red rice is very symbolic in Japan as it is served during the great events of life.
Clearspring has selected this variety of red azuki beans grown in organic and biodynamic agriculture.. Rich in many nutrients, proteins, vitamins and minerals, these slow-cooked azukis in lightly salted water are naturally sweet and easy to use.
Like in Japan, enjoy Organic Azuki unsweetened in your desserts, cakes, ice cream and with your stir-fried vegetable dishes or salads.
