Panko 227g

Panko  パン粉 is a typical Japanese breadcrumb and differs from our breadcrumbs in many ways.

Traditionally produced from breadcrumbs, the original breadcrumb is less dense than breadcrumbs with crusts. It is also coarsely ground and its large flakes coat food less compactly than crumbs, allowing fat to partially drain away rather than be absorbed.

The resulting breadcrumbs are less fatty, airier, lighter, crisper and crunchier than at home!
