Japanese Vodka Nikka 70cl
700ml bottle of grain vodka produced in Japan by Nikka.
This vodka produced by Nikka is the result of blending malted barley and corn distillate in a Coffey still. The vodka is then filtered over birch charcoal for maximum smoothness and balance.
Both smooth and rich, the initial nose is marked by notes of cashew, liquorice, mint and raspberry. On aeration, it evolves with distinction on freshly cut grass, almond and citrus (lemon). Coriander, coconut milk and lychee come to the fore. Rather lively, the attack in the mouth returns to dried fruits (date, almond) while some very sweet spices give it a lot of dynamism (cinnamon, cardamom). Very herbaceous, the finish also evokes a very ripe pear. On the aftertaste, the sweetness of corn and the grainy character of malted barley are perfectly transcribed.
This vodka is 40°.
