Very mild unfiltered Kyoto nigori sake
Sake brewer for several decades in Fushimi, south of Kyoto, Kizakura 黄桜 takes its name from the famous Japanese cherry tree with double and ... yellow flowers, a rarity much appreciated by the brewery's founder.
The region's harsh climate during the winter season and the purity of the Fushi-Mizu's groundwater contribute to the production of quality sake.
This full-bodied unfiltered Junmai Nigori Shu純米にごり酒 sake offers its silky texture with sweet flavours reminiscent of creamy rice.
Excellent with Japanese sweet and savoury dishes and as an aperitif!
