Sake brewer for several decades in Fushimi, south of Kyoto, Kizakura 黄桜 takes its name from the famous Japanese cherry tree with double and ... yellow flowers, a rarity much appreciated by the brewery's founder.
The region's harsh climate during the winter season and the purity of the Fushi-Mizu's groundwater contribute to the production of quality sakes.
This very mild sake Junmai Kyô No Tokuri Nigori Zake 純米京のとくりにごり酒 offers you novel flavours reminiscent of creamy rice or yoghurt: ideal to accompany fish or to serve with dessert.
Presented in a small tokkuri type bottle traditionally used to serve sake, it will be elegant on your table or ideal as a gift!
