Superior Sake Kawasemi 72cl
Koshinohana Kawasemi No Tabi Junmai Genshu
Pure rice wine sake , very expressive, rather sweet and really fruity
« Kawasemi no Tabi カワセミの旅 the journey of the kingfisher, is brewed by Asahara Shuzo Brewery in the heart of Okumashi, Niigata Prefecture, using traditional production methods perpetuated by the craft brewers since 1882.
Unique in its own right, Kawasemi is a floral O-sake, (superior sake) revealing bright, delicate, fruity aromas and releasing an unexpected freshness in the mouth. It reveals notes of ripe pear, lychee, spicy and slightly peppery scents. On the palate, it develops on fruit juice before opening up on more cereal notes of breadcrumbs and finishing with slightly acidic sensations. It leaves the palate fresh and available.
Its expressiveness comes from a long and complex fermentation process allowing the rice flavours to fully reveal themselves.
Kawasemi is a Junmai Genshu sake, as no alcohol or water was added after fermentation.
Ideal as an aperitif to introduce oneself to the discovery of sake, it is perfectly suited to connoisseurs for selected moments and pairings ! »
