The mochi is a glutinous rice paste is consumed especially in winter.
The kirimochi is cut into square pieces, there is also the marumochi, cut into circles.
Mochi can be grilled and accompanied with nori seaweed, or prepare with kinako (soybean powder with sugar).
Instructions:
Grille : broil 4-5 minutes (180-200 C) and let the mochi another 2 minutes in the oven without opening.
Boiled: Put the mochi and pour water in a pan before putting a pan on the fire. Boil it 2 minutes.
Microwave oven : Place mochi on a plate and put water until the mochi that is completely covered. Cook it about 2 minutes in the microwave.
