Since 1659, the Kiku-Masamune brewery 菊正宗 in Hyogo has been producing dry sakes with aromas that can be enjoyed throughout a meal.
This junmai dry sake is made with Yamada Nishiki rice using the ancestral kimoto method, which gives it a strong vanilla finish when cold and a rich, creamy flavour when hot.
It's ideal with sushi and sashimi, donburi rice dishes, marmite nabé and tôfu: it'll be perfect for your simmered dishes.
Enjoy this versatile sake Kimoto Junmai 生酛純米 with your Japanese and even Western dishes.
