Sake brewer since 1830 in Niigata, a region with the 2nd largest number of breweries in Japan, Asahi Shûzo offers its Kubota game, certainly one of the most famous in the Land of the Rising Sun.
The brewery itself grows Gohyakumangoku rice in a rich and varied natural environment, ebntoured by the Sea of Japan to the west and the mountains to the east.
Produced near the Shinano River, famous for its fireworks, this understated, silky-mouthed Ginjo sake is easy to drink and very pleasant.
Drink Kubota Senjyu久保田千寿 , ideal with oysters and raw sashimi fish or to accompany all your favourite dishes without interfering!
