Sake brewer for several decades in Fushimi, south of Kyoto, Kizakura 黄桜 takes its name from the famous Japanese cherry tree with double and ... yellow flowers, a rarity much appreciated by the brewery's foundator.
The region's harsh climate during the winter season and the purity of the Fushi-Mizu's groundwater contribute to the production of quality sakes.
This sweet and fruity Junmai Kyô No Tokuri Ginjô 純米京のとくり吟醸 sake, made with double the amount of Koshihkari variety rice, offers you its umami-rich taste that pairs perfectly with fish and seafood.
Presented in a small tokkuri type bottle traditionally used to serve sake, it will look elegant on your table or ideal for gifting!
