Sake brewer for several decades in Fushimi, south of Kyoto, Kizakura 黄桜 takes its name from the famous Japanese cherry tree with double and ... yellow blossoms, a rarity much appreciated by the brewery's founder.
The region's harsh climate during the winter season and the purity of the Fushi-Mizu's groundwater contribute to the production of quality sakes.
This aromatic sake Junmai Kyô No Tokuri Daiginjô 純米京のとくり大吟醸, offers its apple and pineapple flavours: excellent with fish, seafood and seaweed.
Presented in a small tokkuri type bottle traditionally used to serve sake, it will be elegant on your table or ideal for gift giving!
