Japanese nori leaves for sushi x7g
cleaspring japanese toasted sushi nori
Japanese grown and prepared artisanal grilled nori leaves
Although originally gathered wild, Nori seaweed has been cultivated in Japan for over 300 years!
Clearspring Nori seaweed is grown and prepared using traditional methods in Kyûshû, in southern Japan.
Nets made of woven rope impregnated with nori spores are hung each year between long bamboo sticks driven deep into the shallow, calm bays. The height of each net is carefully adjusted so that it remains above water level at low tide, giving the growing nori leaves maximum sunlight, but below water level, so that they receive a regular wash, at high tide. At the end of winter, they are harvested and brought ashore, washed, cut, dried turned into thin leaves and then toasted.
Very fine and uniform texture, lovely translucent dark green colour: these 7 leaves of Japanese Sushi Nori AlgaeSushi nori ???? Clearspring delicately coat your sushi with their authentic and healthy umami flavours.
