Unlike ramen noodles, yakisoba noodles are not eaten in soup but sautéed in a pan or, as in Japan, on a hot plate such as a plancha : Embellished with cabbage, vegetables and pork and then topped with a special yakisoba sauce, mayonnaise, shavings of katsuobushi bonito, aonori seaweed and red benishôga ginger, it's a hearty dish full of aromatic flavours that you can't get enough of.
