Organic Gyokuro shade green tea, grown by the Shutaro Hayashi family
Shutaro HAYASHI is a fifth-generation tea farmer in the prefecture of Kagoshima, on the southern Kyushu Peninsula. At the foot of the Kirishima mountains, ?? the Hayashi family cultivates in their family gardens surrounded by forests, species of tea trees, some of which are becoming increasingly rare in Japan. All of its production stems from fully organic cultivation that meets the challenges arising from the demanding working methods of an organic tea garden.
The selected bushes are shaded 10 to 15 days before the first harvest. The resulting Tennen Gyokuro ?? infusion is bright green and the taste is incredibly sweet and deep, even on the second or third infusion: a true wonder!
