Konnyaku Vermicelli, also known as shirataki are noodles of Japanese origin, prepared with konjac (a kind of large tuber) and very low in calories (only 6kcal per 100g!): an appetite suppressant effect that makes it very popular with Japanese women who want to control their weight!
