The Naganoken San Kinmemai 長野県産金芽米 variety of rice is a renowned rice grown in Nagano Prefecture, one of the rice growing regions in the heart of the Japanese Alps.
Hikari means "light", this rice is regarded for its beauty and brilliance.
The small, firm grains of rice have an airy, sticky texture when cooked.
