Dorayaki どらやき A cake rooted in Japanese culture, a pastry present at every school recess. It's also Doraemon's favorite food :)

Ultra simple and delicious: 2 toasted pancakes layered on top of each other and filled with red bean paste. All round, its shape is said to come from that of a gong (dora), from which it takes its name.

Hiyoshi 日吉 has made it his specialty in Shimane prefecture.

Enjoy these Dorayaki in a
Kuri Tsubu An 栗粒あん version, with chestnut chips: perfect with a cup of tea, for your bentos and gourmet breaks!
