Yamamotoyama 山本山, renowned in Japan for his teas since 1690, operates from the United States: he brings you this Genmaicha げんまい茶, a Japanese green tea blended with toasted and puffed rice grains.
This tea was originally drunk by poor Japanese, with the rice used to reduce the tea portion of the blend and lower its price.
Genmaicha tea has a smooth, pleasant and surprising taste that combines the fresh taste of green tea with the nutty flavor of toasted rice.
