Umshu 梅酒 is an alcoholic beverage produced from sake in which Ume 梅 plums, a specific variety of plum from Japan, are marinated.
Since 1882, the craftsmen of the Asahara family distillery in Saitama have been producing pure, additive- and preservative-free and highly aromatic spirits.
It offers its umeshu produced from local Ume plums from the Saitama prefecture, renowned for growing fruit harvested at full maturity.
Enjoy this unbelievable umeshu Okumusashino Nigori 奥武蔵のにごり梅酒 unfiltered and smooth, remarkably well-balanced between sweetness and acidity, with hints of almonds and a superb fruity feel.
Serve before serving very chilled: ideal as an aperitif or with dessert!
