Naturally sparkling like champagne, this Gassan Cloud Sake is a semi-dry sake whose fine bubbles are obtained by adding sake lees in natural secondary fermentation.

Since 1743 of the Edo period, the Yoshida brewery has been producing local sake in Shimane from ancestral know-how. Its brand Gassan 月山 means between mountain and moon in reference to the castle built on Gassan Tomita Mountain located near the brewery and renowned for the purity of its spring water.

This sake was awarded the Gold Medal at the sake concoeur to be enjoyed in a wine glass in Dec 2020.

And it goes well with cooked vegetables, cheese and desserts. Serve it as an aperitif or to celebrate many occasions, but always well chilled!

The wine glass is the perfect way to enjoy the wine.
