Traditional Umeshu plum wine: Choya's Original!
Umeshu梅酒 is an alcoholic beverage produced from sake in which Ume梅 plums, a specific variety of plum from Japan, are marinated.
Since 1959, Choya has been producing natural spirits near Osaka that are rich in aroma and have popularised Umeshu throughout the archipelago.
It offers this umeshu in an original version produced in Germany according to the traditional Japanese recipe: a base of white wine, ume plum wine, ume plum juice and a hint of sugar.
Smooth, sweet and fruity on the palate, enjoy this sweet Umeshu drink, accompanied by ice cubes in the summer and warm in the winter: ideal for your aperitifs in all seasons!
