Sakura Usuzumi incense - Classic
nippon kodo sakura usuzumi
High quality traditional Japanese incense with Sakura cherry blossom petals
Usuzumi no Sakura, 淡墨の桜 is a thousand-year-old cherry tree with grey blossoms: located in the Gifu Mountains, it is said to be the largest and oldest cherry tree in Japan.
Chiyo Uno, a famous poet of the 20th century, was inspired by this cherry tree when he first saw it in Neo Village, Gifu, Japan: The cherry blossom is the flower of happiness. Cherry blossoms enchant me. With its 1500 years, this tree is destined to die. I wish to see this cherry tree bloom once again, even if it is only once. And every spring the cherry tree blooms again, like a miracle of life. He later wrote: Happiness is not an unattainable mountain, it could well be like one of these flowers. If I can see the cherry blossoms again this year, it's enough to make me happy.
This Sakura Usuzumi Cherry Blossom Incense is produced from sakura cherry blossom petals and essential oil as well as bamboo charcoal.
Let its floral scent envelop you: it radiates infinite tolerance and goodness!
