Born Nama Sake from Fukui 72cl
Katô Kichibee Muroka Nama Genshu Junmai Daiginjo
Unmai daiginjo sake, unpasteurized & unfiltered, produced in Fukui
The Katôkichibee Shôten brewery has been producing sakes in Fukui since 1860. Its 11th generation craftsmen successfully perpetuate the famous Born 梵 (birth/origin) range using water from the nearby spring of Mount Hakusan.
Their artisan brewers offer you this sake Nama Genshu Junmai Daiginjo 生原酒純米大吟醸, unpasteurised & unfiltered and aged for a year at -10 degrees.
Smooth and mellow, this sake with sweet aromas of cooked banana, leather and tropical fruit also develops ripe flavours of fruit compote and honey that make it juicy and lively.
« The main characteristic of this sake is its elusive umami quality, so present that a sticker has been affixed to the bottle with the words [umami].»
