The Genmaicha Green Tea 玄米茶 Biological Clearspring is grown in the lush hills around Kyoto and Kyûshû, two regions known for their ideal climate and soil conditions that produce some of the best tea in Japan.
The delicious nutty flavour and woody aroma is characteristic of Genmaicha tea. The freshly harvested green tea leaves are steamed and rolled in the traditional sencha making process. Then they are combined with roasted brown rice and packed immediately to retain their full flavour.
