This seasoning is produced from the juice extracted from Japanese plums "ume", very popular in Japan. This seasoning to taste is tangy and salty, with its lovely natural pink color. This vinegar adds a refreshing zest to salad dressings and cooked vegetables.
It can be used instead of a traditional vinegar, condiment or sauce dip for tempura, tofu and cooked vegetables. When cooking with this seasoning, it is generally not necessary to add salt or other salty condiments.
Ingredients: Japanese ume plums, red shiso leaves (Perilla), sea salt.
Store in a cool, dark place.
