Product Details

Sachet 50g seaweed dehydrated high quality kombu.

Kombu sea vegetable is most commonly used to prepare ''Dashi'', a versatile stock that can be used to make soups, stews and sauces.

To prepare, soak an 8-12cm long strip of kombu in 1 litre of water for 20-30 minutes.Then bring slowly to the boil and gently simmer for 5 minutes. Remove the kombu and reserve it for cooking later with beans or vegetables.


Composition: Wild laminar (kombu, Laminaria japonica).

Resealable package.

Health advice: Sea vegetable are naturally rich in iodine. Iodine is essential for good health consumption of this sea vegetable product to no more than 1g per week (dry weight) for adults. Children under 4 years of age are recommended a third of this quantity.
