Pickled yellow radish takuan for sushi
White daikon radishes can be eaten as takuan (or Tokyo takuan), when the radish is pickled.
Yellow in colour, these crisp radishes are often cut into long strips and incorporated into sushi. They are also suitable as a side dish or can be eaten on their own.
Just cut them to size and you're set!
