Nagata Family Organic Genmaicha Tea is made with the finest green tea grown in the hills around Kyoto, famous for its ideal climatic conditions for producing some of Japan's finest teas.

The nutty flavour and aroma come from the skilful preparation of expert tea growers.

Freshly harvested green tea leaves are steamed and rolled using the traditional Sencha process, then combined with toasted brown rice.

The new range of organic tea bags is presented in 100% sustainable packaging. The tea bags are sewn together using a unique folding process and contain no staples. The strings are made of 100% organic cotton and the outer cardboard is recyclable and printed with vegetable ink.

Ingredients

Green tea leaves * (50%), roasted brown rice * (50%). * organically grown.

Preparation of organic genmaicha tea:

Boil water and allow to cool for one minute before adding the tea bag.

Allow to steep for 1 to 2 minutes. The bag can be brewed a maximum of 2 to 3 times.
