Awamori is the oldest Japanese spirit and the traditional spirit of the Okinawa archipelago: this drink distilled in a unique method since the XVth century is deeply rooted in the culture of the region.
Awamori Mizuho Island Spirits eis an unaged awamori (ippanshu) produced by the Mizuho distillery on the island of Okinawa in the Ryukyu archipelago.
It is produced from a unique distillation process using Thaliland rice and requires the use of a special mould source needed during fermentation, Koji.
The Mizuho distillery has recently developed Awamori Mizuho Island Spirits in order to develop and reach out to the mixology world.
