High quality wakame seaweed grown and harvested in Japan
Wakame is an edible seaweed widely used in Japanese cooking, in salads or soups: its best-known use is in miso soups.
Rich in fibre and calcium, thedark green wavy wakame leaves have a pleasant, mild flavour while offering a delicate, tender texture.
The wakame わかめ seaweed selected by Clearspring is hand-harvested from the clear, mineral-rich waters off the coast of Japan, then washed and then hung on ropes and left to dry slowly in the sun.
Rapidly prepared and easy to use, enjoy it in your miso soups, mixed or summer salads, and stir-fries!
