Ao nori is seaweed that is dried and then flaked. Low in calories and very rich in nutrients (iodine, calcium and magnesium) and vitamins A, B12 and C, it is a healthy Japanese flavour and very easy to use!
In Japan, Aonori seaweed is used as a seasoning for okonomiyaki cabbage patties, takoyaki octopus dumplings, yakisoba or yakiudon fried noodles.
