Crunchy sesame oil with garlic to spice up sauces and dishes
Layu oil, or râyu, a spiced sesame oil originating from China, is used in particular for gyôza (Japanese ravioli).
In Japan, it is enjoyed in its [ Layu to eat Taberu Layû 食べる ラッ油 ] form: a tasty mixture of soybean oil and rice bran, spiced up with garlic and onion fried into tiny, crispy pieces.
Enjoy it to season and texture your sauces, sautéed vegetables, meat, pasta, pies and pizzas: a real treat!
