Authentic Japanese Sômen wheat flour noodles
This variety of noodles Sômen そうめん is produced in the prefecture of Gunma (former province of Joshu) in central Japan, renowned for its temperate climate, abundant pure water and the quality of its wheat flour.
Taking its name from the highest mountain in the region, the Akagi producer continues the skill of making authentic and tasty noodles according to traditional local recipes and takes care to package them in recycled paper.
Somen noodles are white, dry, extremely fine and delicate Japanese noodles, produced from vermicelli-type wheat flour.
Depending on the season, sômens are served hot (winter) or cold (summer). Hot sômens are immersed in a broth.
They have the particularity of cooking very quickly: in only 3 minutes, enjoy delicious sômen noodles!
